After getting home from a fairly pleasant dinner/drinks with friends, I was sad to hear Rowland S Howard has passed... (I had no idea he was battling!)
Apart from being the lead guitarist for The Birthday Party, in solo capacity he was a vivid highlight for me at last year's ATP Festival.
Rest in peace, Rowland. ("...tonight we sleep in separate ditches...")
